epilot
Cologne-based cloud platform for energy suppliers that combines sales, service and processes and uses AI agents to handle emails and requests.
What it does
epilot is a cloud platform for the energy sector that brings sales, customer service, products, processes and partners together in one system. With Journeys you build order and inquiry flows without coding, plus customer, business-customer and partner portals and a data lake for analysis. The AI layer “Luna” coordinates several agents: a mail agent summarises email threads, sorts incoming messages into categories and drafts replies that cite their sources. You can filter contacts, orders and cases by typing requests in everyday language.
Who it suits
Municipal utilities, energy suppliers, grid operators and solution providers that want to digitise sales and service around the energy transition.
Data protection for businesses
According to the vendor, all data is held exclusively in ISO 27001-certified data centres in Germany; AWS is named as a partner. epilot states that third-party AI model providers may not use customer data to train their own models and have no access to prompts or logs. Each organisation decides whether to switch on the AI features. The vendor does not mention a data processing agreement on its public pages, so ask for one during contract talks. All packages are aimed at businesses.
Limits
Prices are only available on request after a demo. The pricing page does not say whether the AI features are included in any package. Some functions, such as churn predictions, are still described as plans. The platform is clearly tailored to the energy industry.
