Browse AI
Canadian tool that lets you extract data from websites without coding and automatically monitor pages for changes.
What it does
With Browse AI you set up so-called robots that extract content from websites – such as prices, product lists, job ads or property listings. You show the tool which data you want, check the detected structure and approve the run. Robots can run on a schedule and report changes on a page. More than 250 ready-made templates cover common platforms. Data is exported as CSV or JSON, to Google Sheets, Airtable or AWS S3, or passed on via Zapier, Make, webhooks and a REST API.
Who it suits
Teams in sales, e-commerce and market research who regularly collect public web data or want to keep an eye on competitors without writing their own scrapers.
Data protection for businesses
All services and databases run on AWS in US data centres; the vendor does not offer EU data hosting. For transfers from the EU it refers to standard contractual clauses. The vendor does not mention a data processing agreement on its pages. It explicitly rules out AI model training only for data from Google Workspace connections; its terms allow it to create aggregated insights from customer data. It does not mention a way to switch this off. According to the vendor, a SOC 2 Type 2 audit has been completed. For larger companies there is the individually negotiated Premium plan.
Limits
Billing is based on credits, and complex sites cost more of them. Whether you are allowed to extract a website’s data is up to you to check. The vendor’s liability is heavily limited.
