What it does
WordLift Agent is an AI assistant for search engine optimisation built on your website’s knowledge graph and your SEO data. In a chat you ask how your pages are performing, have it extract entities and keywords, score and expand content, cluster keywords by search intent or spot traffic drops in Google Search Console. It also drafts texts in your brand’s tone and offers a chat assistant that answers customer questions on your website. You can use it on the web, as a Chrome extension, via Zapier, an API, a command-line tool or an MCP server, for example from Claude or Cursor.
Who it suits
Marketing and SEO teams in mid-sized and larger companies, and agencies that already maintain structured data with WordLift or plan to. A self-serve version for small teams is still in an early test phase.
Data protection for businesses
WordLift is based in Rome. According to its GDPR page, data is stored in the EU and the UK, and published metadata on servers in Germany. The language models run on Azure OpenAI. The vendor does not publicly mention a data processing agreement. The vendor does not say whether your inputs are used for training or how to switch this off – clarify both before use. The agent is included in the business plans Business+ and Enterprise.
Limits
High entry price and no free trial. The number of requests per month is capped by plan. The MCP integration is still marked experimental. The privacy policy dates from 2018.
