Proofsource
Checks whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI answers name your brand, which competitors appear instead and what you should change.
What it does
Proofsource regularly asks AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews the questions your customers would ask and stores every answer. You see how often and in what position your brand is named, which competitors appear instead, which pages the engines cite and how they talk about you. For an extra charge, more engines such as Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI can be added. The tool checks whether AI crawlers may read your website, ranks improvements by expected impact and creates text drafts that you approve before publishing. Integrations include Google Search Console, Google Analytics, WordPress, Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Who it suits
Marketing teams and agencies that want to know whether their brand shows up in AI answers and want to improve this systematically. Agencies can get white-label reports on request.
Data protection for businesses
Data is stored on AWS in the United States; the vendor does not offer EU data hosting. The vendor does not mention a data processing agreement. According to its privacy policy, your data is not used to train AI models. SSO and API access are available in the individually negotiated Custom plan.
Limits
There is no self-service checkout; every plan requires a demo call. The trial lasts only two days. Indian law governs the contract.
