What it does
GetResponse is an email marketing platform with built-in AI features. A generator drafts complete emails and subject lines, and a writing assistant in the editor writes paragraphs from an instruction or shortens and simplifies existing text. A campaign generator creates a landing page, welcome email and newsletter in one step, and there are AI helpers for websites and online courses. Automations, forms, webinars, SMS, shop integrations and an API are also included.

Data protection for businesses
GetResponse does not state on its pages where the main platform is hosted. The AI in the course creator runs via Microsoft in the EEA; for the other AI features the vendor uses OpenAI, which does not appear in the published sub-processor list. According to the terms of service, the models do not learn from your input, so there is nothing to switch off. You are still told not to enter personal or confidential data there. You conclude the data processing agreement automatically when opening an account, on every plan.
Limits
In the Starter plan the AI tools are limited to three uses each; the website and course creators start with the Creator plan. Prices rise with the number of contacts. The vendor accepts no liability for AI output, so you need to check it before sending.
