MyMemo
US-based knowledge store that collects articles, PDFs, videos and audio, summarises them and lets you query them via AI chat.
What it does
MyMemo gathers web pages, PDFs, Word files, screenshots, YouTube videos and audio recordings in one place and creates summaries of them. With AskMemo you ask questions across your whole library or a single collection; answers draw on several saved sources. MemoCast turns content into short audio episodes. There is also a Chrome extension for saving, export to PDF or Word, shared team areas (TeamSpace) and a dedicated voice recorder called M-NOTE.
Who it suits
Individuals and small teams who read and research a lot and want to find articles, studies or recordings again quickly without tagging everything by hand.
Data protection for businesses
According to the privacy policy, data is stored on servers in the United States (AWS); no EU option is offered. We found no data processing agreement, and the privacy policy does not address the GDPR. The terms allow MyMemo to use your input to improve its services; whether this includes model training and how to opt out is not stated. There is no dedicated business plan. The tool is therefore not suitable for personal or confidential data.
Limits
Fixed monthly quotas for chat messages, uploads and transcriptions per plan. The underlying AI models are not openly named. Summaries can contain errors and should be checked for important content.
