What it does
MiniMax H3 Max is a faster variant of the MiniMax H3 video model, post-trained by fal.ai together with MiniMax. You generate clips of 5 to 15 seconds at 480p or 768p: from a text description, from a first and/or last frame, or with reference images, videos and audio so that character, camera work, style or voice stay consistent. The model is accessed through the MiniMax Open Platform API.
Who it suits
Development teams and agencies that build video generation into their own applications or production workflows and need many short clips quickly, for example drafts, storyboards or campaign variants. If you need 2K, use the regular H3.
Data protection for businesses
According to the privacy policy, the operator is Nanonoble Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. The vendor does not state where data is processed and does not offer EU data hosting. The vendor does not mention a data processing agreement. It also does not describe whether inputs are used for training or how to switch that off. There are no dedicated business plans for H3; for larger volumes MiniMax refers you to its sales team. Only use confidential or personal content once these points are clarified.
Limits
Maximum 768p and 15 seconds per clip. Video packages do not cover H3 models, billing is per second, and input images and videos cost extra. Open weights exist only for H3-Base, and their licence excludes the EU.
