Lindy
AI assistant from the US that connects to Slack, email, calendars and many apps and handles recurring office tasks on its own.
What it does
Lindy works as an AI agent you talk to via Slack, email, iMessage or a web interface. It sorts inboxes, drafts replies schedules appointments, joins meetings and shares the notes with the team. Daily or weekly reports run on a schedule. Over 1,000 integrations such as Gmail, HubSpot and GitHub, plus MCP servers, connect Lindy to your tools. What it knows about your business is stored in text files you can read and edit. In the Team plan it can also operate a computer.
Who it suits
Small and mid-sized teams handing off routine work in the inbox, calendar and CRM without building workflows themselves.
Data protection for businesses
Lindy is based in the US and uses Google Cloud and AWS among others. The vendor does not mention a fixed EU data hosting option. Data processing terms are part of the terms of service; you must request standard contractual clauses yourself. According to the vendor, neither Lindy nor the AI providers it uses, such as OpenAI and Anthropic, train on your data. Lindy is audited to SOC 2 Type II. Single sign-on, audit logs and HIPAA with a business associate agreement are available in the Enterprise plan.
Limits
Billing uses credits consumed at different rates per task; monthly credits expire, purchased ones remain. Because the agent acts on its own, keep permissions narrow and check results.
