Capitol AI
US platform for traceable AI workflows that turn company data into reports, decks and spreadsheets with documented sources and review steps.
What it does
Capitol AI builds repeatable workflows that turn your own data sources – document repositories, databases, spreadsheets, public sources – into work products such as reports, filings, financial models, decks or small web apps. You assemble the workflows without code, with versioning, approvals and defined human review steps. Every result can be traced back to the sources and steps that produced it. For each step the platform picks a suitable model, for example from OpenAI, Anthropic or open models. You assign permissions by role, team or workflow, and the cost of each workflow is visible.
Who it suits
Teams in financial services, consulting, government and other regulated fields that need recurring analyses and reports with verifiable origins. For individuals or small teams with occasional needs, the platform is too large in scope.
Data protection for businesses
According to its privacy notice, Capitol AI operates its services and servers in the United States, hosted on AWS and Cloudflare. The vendor does not offer EU data hosting. The vendor does not mention a separate data processing agreement; for company accounts it acts as a processor according to its privacy notice. The website states that customer data is not used to train third-party models, but the vendor may use aggregated, de-identified data for its own business purposes, such as improving its products. Single-tenant hosting, bring-your-own-key and SOC 2 compliance are listed. Only individual enterprise contracts are available.
Limits
Prices are not public, contracts run annually with payment in advance, and access starts with a demo. The vendor names Amazon S3, Google Drive and Microsoft Azure among its data sources but mentions no API. The contract is governed by California law.
