MagicSlides
AI tool that turns a topic, text, PDF, video or web page into editable presentations for PowerPoint and Google Slides.
What it does
MagicSlides builds a slide deck from a topic, a short text or existing material, which you then edit. It accepts PDF, Word and PowerPoint files, images, audio, video, YouTube links or web pages; “Clone Slide” turns an image of a slide into an editable slide. Decks export to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides, and your own PowerPoint files can serve as templates. Besides the web app there is a Google Slides add-on, a Figma plugin, a Chrome extension, iOS and Android apps, an API and an MCP server.
Who it suits
Teams that often build presentations from existing documents – training sessions, reports, pitch decks – and need a quick first draft. If you already work in Google Slides, the add-on is handy.
Data protection for businesses
The vendor is IndianAppGuy Tech Private Limited, and Indian law applies. The vendor does not name a server location and does not offer EU data hosting. For some features, inputs are sent to OpenAI, where they may be stored for up to 30 days. The vendor does not state explicitly whether content is used for training and describes no way to switch it off. The vendor does not mention a data processing agreement. Team and enterprise plans are available on request; they let you use your own OpenAI keys, and teams can pay by invoice.
Limits
Plans cap presentations per month and slides per presentation. AI-generated images cost extra. Check the content and facts in the slides before using them.
