French API platform that gives access to more than 500 AI models for text, speech, OCR and image analysis through a single interface.
What it does
Eden AI combines more than 500 AI models from various providers, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Mistral, behind a single API. Besides language models, it offers text recognition (OCR), document parsing, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, translation, image analysis and embeddings. Requests, billing and monitoring run uniformly through one account. Routing picks models by price, performance or region and automatically switches to a fallback model when a provider fails.
Who it suits
Development teams that want to build several AI services into their own applications without connecting each interface separately. Without programming skills the tool is of little use.
Data protection for businesses
Prompts and outputs are not stored by default and are not used for training, so there is nothing to switch off. Via the EU endpoint, requests run exclusively on servers in the EU, though only models with European processing are available there. With the standard endpoint, data may leave the EU depending on the provider, safeguarded by standard contractual clauses. The data processing agreement is part of the terms of service; you can request a signed copy. Private deployments and extended compliance arrangements are available in the Advanced plan.
Limits
A 5.5% platform fee is added to model costs. Which models are available depends on the connected providers. For sensitive data, check which third-party provider actually processes the request.
