DTAD
Berlin-based tender platform that collects public contracts and uses its AI assistant Frank to analyse tender documents.
What it does
DTAD collects public tenders from more than 12,000 sources, mainly in Germany, plus the EU and the DACH region, and adds construction projects at an early stage. An AI-based semantic search finds matching contracts even without exact keywords; new matches arrive daily by notification. The chat assistant Frank reads tender documents, extracts eligibility and award criteria and helps you decide whether a bid is worthwhile. On top of that come analyses of past awards and competitors, shared lists for your team and a CRM connection via an API.
Who it suits
Companies that bid for public contracts regularly: construction and trade businesses, IT service providers, manufacturers, retailers and consultancies. Contracting authorities can publish their tenders on the platform free of charge.
Data protection for businesses
According to its privacy policy, the platform is developed and hosted in Germany; among its service providers DTAD lists AWS. The vendor does not mention a data processing agreement on its public pages. The vendor does not state whether documents analysed by Frank are used to train AI models or which language model is behind it. Plans are offered to business customers only and on request.
Limits
Prices are not public; you only get a quote through sales. The focus is clearly on the German market. Frank’s analysis does not replace carefully reading the tender documents before submitting a bid.
