Clair
Android and Wear OS app that lets you answer Claude Code questions, permission prompts and plan reviews from your phone or watch.
What it does
Clair forwards Claude Code prompts to your Android phone or Wear OS watch. There you approve or deny commands, answer questions by picking an option, typing or dictating, and approve plans, optionally so that edits are then accepted automatically. A small agent on your computer (macOS, Linux, Windows) hooks into Claude Code through its hooks. Pairing is done with a QR code. You can connect several computers, and an overview shows active sessions and token usage. The first answer counts, whether it comes from the terminal, the phone or the watch.
Who it suits
Developers who let Claude Code run longer tasks and don’t want to wait at their desk for approvals. According to the vendor, it also works with API keys, Amazon Bedrock and gateways.
Data protection for businesses
Prompts are end-to-end encrypted on your computer. The relay server only sees encrypted messages, IP addresses and timestamps, and deletes messages after one day at most. It is hosted on Vercel in the US, with no EU option. Google Firebase is used for push notifications, crash reports and usage analytics. We found no data processing agreement and no business plans. Clair runs no AI model of its own, so inputs are not used for training. Claude Code itself is covered by Anthropic’s rules.
Limits
Clair is available only for Android and Wear OS, not for iPhone, and it works only with Claude Code. It is run by a single developer, and the terms strictly limit liability. The vendor states the subscription price only in the Google Play listing, not on its website.
