AI Weekly Review: collected automatically, approved by humans

The AI world moves faster than any team can keep up with. We built a workflow that collects the most important news every week and delivers a bilingual draft — published only after human review.

01 · Problem

Anyone working with AI needs to know what is changing: new models, new risks, new rules. That is dozens of reports from many sources every week, and hardly anyone has time to read them all. At the same time, we wanted to share what we know — without publishing unchecked AI text that nobody stands behind.

02 · Solution

vona built its own workflow for this. Every Monday a Python tool reads 18 selected sources via RSS, filters by time period, removes duplicates and hands the reports to a language model (Claude). It writes a review in German and carries it over into English. An automatic check makes sure that every link comes from the sources that were read or from our own articles, that the transparency note is included, and that title and length fit. The drafts arrive by email. A person reads them, verifies the key statements against the sources and approves them.

03 · Result

Every week a bilingual review is produced that backs its statements with the original source and is openly labeled as AI-assisted. The team's time goes into checking and putting things in context instead of collecting. You can read it on the blog under “AI Weekly Review”. The workflow shows how we use AI: as a tool with clear rules, where in the end a human decides.

04 · Workflow

  1. Sources: 18 selected RSS feeds
  2. Collect: Period, duplicates
  3. Draft (DE): Language model writes
  4. Translation: English version
  5. Check: Links, note, length
  6. Email: Drafts in the inbox
  7. Approval: Human verifies sources
  8. Blog & feed: German and English
One run per week: everything up to the email happens automatically. Nothing is published until a human approves it.
